Fresh New Design Unveiled

The most important news to start with is our New Look to start the New Year. I've spent the last few weeks updating the software behind STGW and working on the new graphics which were introduced to the surfing world yesterday (Jan 26th). Be sure to stop by and let me know what you think! The goal was to present a cleaner, more professional look. There are also new accessibility options available at the very top of the directory pages which allow you to increase text size or change the width of the page.

Database Clean-up

I spent much of the holiday season doing a much-needed clean-up of our database, including our mailing list. As you browse through our listings please use the "Report Listing" link if you encounter any outdated or dead links. Also, if you haven't already, please review your current listing and notify me if there are any changes needed. Find you listing by entering your website name into the Search Box on our front page.

Online Marketing Tip for January

A new monthly inclusion in the newletter will be a monthly online marketing tip. Here is an excerpt:

Provide a valid email address on your Contact Page which is @ the same domain as your actual website. Free mail services such as Gmail or Yahoo shouldn’t be used for business. Worry about the Customer First, and receiving Spam second.
